The Energy Bridge (TEB) Forum 2026 in Vienna brought together policymakers, industry leaders, innovators, researchers, startups, utilities, and investors to discuss one of Europe's biggest challenges: accelerating the energy transition.

As part of the CzechTrade national delegation, Vesla had the opportunity to present its flexible Electronic Manufacturing Services (EMS) capabilities and connect with companies developing the next generation of energy technologies.

A meeting place for innovation

With more than 80 speakers and over 400 participants, the forum demonstrated how rapidly the Central and Eastern European energy ecosystem is evolving. From smart metering and IoT

platforms to drone technology and advanced industrial automation, the event highlighted the growing need for reliable electronic hardware behind every innovation.

For Vesla, it was an opportunity to engage directly with technology developers, research institutions, and industrial partners while gaining valuable insights into future market demands.

Why this event mattered

The energy transition depends on much more than software and digital platforms. It requires robust, high-quality electronic products that can operate reliably in demanding environments.

Throughout the event, one message was clear: companies are increasingly looking for trusted European manufacturing partners that can support prototyping, industrialisation, and series production while offering supply chain resilience and regulatory compliance.

This trend aligns perfectly with Vesla's approach to flexible, high-quality electronics manufacturing.

Valuable discussions and new opportunities

During the forum, the Vesla team met with organisations active in smart metering, automation, drone technology, and research. These conversations reinforced the growing demand for sophisticated electronic assemblies and reliable manufacturing expertise.

The event also provided valuable market intelligence on emerging technologies and the hardware requirements needed to support future energy infrastructure across Central and Eastern Europe.

The growing importance of European manufacturing

Another recurring theme throughout the conference was the importance of regional production. As supply chain resilience, sustainability, and regulatory requirements become increasingly important, many organisations are reassessing where and how their products are manufactured.

For companies developing innovative energy solutions, working with a European EMS partner offers advantages in communication, quality assurance, logistics, and long-term collaboration.

Looking ahead

The Energy Bridge 2026 confirmed that the future of the energy sector will rely on advanced electronics, automation, and trusted manufacturing partnerships.

For Vesla, participating in the CzechTrade delegation provided an excellent platform to showcase our capabilities, establish promising new contacts, and strengthen our position as a flexible European EMS partner for innovators in the energy market.

We look forward to continuing these conversations and supporting companies that are building the technologies shaping Europe's energy future.
