EMS and PCB assembly
for Demanding Industrial Applications
VESLA provides flexible production
from prototype to mass series.
Design for Manufacturing (DFM)
At the start of every customer collaboration, we focus on Design for Manufacturing (DFM). This is a core strength of VESLA and a key differentiator in our market.
Based on the customer’s input such as design data, BOM and Gerber files, we analyse how the product can be brought into production in the most efficient and reliable way.

In many cases, smart design adjustments can increase the yield:
We evaluate PCB panelization, component placement, edge clearances and how the product can be tested efficiently.
By involving DFM early in the design phase, VESLA reduces the number of production steps, risks, cost and lead time for both PCB assembly and full system builds.
Sheet Metal Processing
The capabilities of our in-house sheet metal department include cutting, punching, bending and welding, as well as producing tinned sheet metal covers and frames.
The machine park includes centrifugal presses (40T and 10T), hydraulic presses (60T and 15T), and spot welding equipment. This setup enables us to produce high-quality housings and components with reduced cost and lead time. Thanks to our flexible tooling, we can deliver prototype parts in a matter of days rather than weeks.
PCB Assembly (SMT & THT)
Our PCB assembly lines are designed for stable, repeatable production of industrial electronics. We operate modern SMT production lines.
Our lines are equipped with JUKI machines, including a screen printer, paste inspection, pick-and-place machines and reflow ovens. We can place components down to 0201 size.
Each SMT board passes through 3D AOI inspection after placement. For through-hole technology (THT) we use wave soldering and selective soldering, combined with manual soldering. The result is a reliable process that delivers consistent quality over the full production run.
Subsystem Assembly
We assemble complete, functional subsystems that precisely integrate electronic assemblies (PCBs), mechanical components, wiring, and cabling.
Operators follow clear, visual guidelines. Every step is fully documented and registered in our shopfloor system. This approach ensures efficient and reliable subsystem production.
Testing & Measurement
We define the test strategy together with you during the project transfer phase. The test concept is adapted to product complexity, safety requirements and expected production volumes. Depending on your needs, we use manual test setups, semi‑automated fixtures or fully automated test systems.
Our capabilities include RF testing, high‑voltage testing and dedicated testbenches for specific products or standards. This shortens test cycles and reduces dependency on individual operators. Test results are stored in a database for further analysis and traceability.
Our in-house developed tool for statistical analysis (PDAT) helps us detect early-stage deviations, enabling fast feedback to other departments. We validate quality from the very first parts and adjust immediately where needed.
